An Evening with Joanna Cannon

We very excited indeed that best-selling author Joanna Cannon will join us at City Central Library in November. Joanna left school at fifteen with one O-level, and returned to college in her thirties, eventually studying medicine. She wrote her novel, The Trouble with Goats and Sheep, between shifts working as an NHS doctor specialising in psychiatry, and has since secured a six-figure deal for her second novel. If you’d like to hear more about Joanna’s work and her fascinating writing journey, do join us – we’ll look forward to seeing you there!
